History in the Beauty You Carry

May you remember the beauty of you, that it was born to carry more than eyes could conceive.

There is something sacred in the way you wear your skin, in how your presence enters before you speak.

Your beauty blooms without permission, having no need to shrink beneath this world’s ideas of what beauty should be.

Deep. Black. And radiant.

Are the simple words to describe the complexity of you and the history in the beauty you carry.
